East Fallowfield Elementary School

Students at East Fallowfield will experience the joy of music through singing, moving, playing many different instruments, reading, writing and composing music and evaluating music performances. Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students use soprano recorders in music class as well as Orff tonebar instruments. Fourth and fifth graders may also begin study of a Band or String instrument.

Fourth and Fifth grade students have the opportunity to be a member of the Chorus. This year the Chorus will be presenting a musical play. The musical will be a full production with speaking parts, singing, choreography, costumes, scenery and decorations. This year’s musical is titled, “Santa, You’ve Got Mail”, an international holiday celebration and will be presented on December 8 th.

Mrs. Hare teaches General Music, Band and Chorus.

Mr. Hartwell teaches one each of Kindergarten, First and Second grade Music as well as some Band lessons.

Mr. Sullivan teaches Strings.
