WELCOME BACK!
I am happy to welcome and extend warm greetings to every one of you during the opening days of school at East Fallowfield Elementary for the 2011/2012 academic year. It is my goal to continue to build upon the excellence and traditions of East Fallowfield. Together we will carry out the mission of our school and district.
Our outstanding teaching staff has been working tirelessly on their classrooms and they are excited and looking forward to teaching the children. Joining the East Fallowfield staff is Kathleen Chidester, Reading Specialist; Christa DelliCompagni, Grade 1; Judy Hare, Music; Sharon Hart, Caf/Playground Aide; Jennifer Higgs, School Psychologist; Susan Hurst, Grade 2; Greg Jaskot, Art; Kim Knowles, Secretary to the Principal; Danielle Leypoldt, Art; Erin Rebhorn, Grade 3; Kinsey Sullivan, Strings; Shanae Taggert, Nurse; Michelle Tucci, grade 3. I welcome these individuals and congratulate them on their new assignments.
A special thank you is extended to Mrs. Kim Knowles, my Administrative Assistant, for working tirelessly toward the successful opening of a new year. I also commend our Custodial staff for the excellent condition of our school and their continued efforts to make East Fallowfield the best facility in the district. Great appreciation is extended to our outstanding Parent Teacher Organization for working on our landscaping over the summer, the luncheon they prepared for our entire staff on August 25, 2011, the awesome agendas and folders for our students, and the splendid events they are planning throughout the year. Last but not least, I would like to send a “shout out” to our Cub Scout parents for planning exciting events and activities for our boys for the 2011- 2012 year.
I look forward to meeting every parent at the various bus stops in the next several weeks. I will be riding a different bus each day to meet EVERY parent. A strong parent involvement is critical to the success of our school and student achievement. I will have membership applications for parents that are interested in joining our Parent Teacher Organization. My mantra for the years to come: Working together, we will take East Fallowfield Elementary where no other school has ever gone!
