A Roaring Welcome from the Principal

As Principal, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the King's Highway Elementary School.  King's Highway is one of seven elementary schools in the Coatesville Area School District.  Our school, located
on Route 340, six miles west of Coatesville, enjoys a rural/suburban setting.  King's Highway is home to approximately 530 students in Kindergarten through fifth grade and has a dynamic staff of 67. 
Our school celebrated its 50th anniversary in March 2005 and continues each year in its commitment to be a vital asset to its community. 

In keeping with our school's mission, our focus is on creating a strong academic program that supports our efforts to prepare students to become life-long learners and productive members of society.  We are fortunate to have an active and involved PTO that not only financially supports our many programs and activities, but it also provides our school with many hours of volunteer service.  We value the partnership that exists between our parents and their school.  I look forward to the 2009-2010 school year being one of excitement, great learning opportunities, and continued success for all students.  At King's Highway Elementary School, we "Strive to Reach Our Peak Potential" as we continue to "Put Children First."
