Animal Rescue Club at
South (A.R.C.S.) - Mrs. Kuhn
& Ms. Yerk
The Animal Rescue Club at South Brandywine provides members with
opportunities to learn about the proper care and treatment of
animals, raise awareness of animal abuse and neglect, advocate
for humane treatment of animals, and volunteer at local animal
shelters. Our activities may include guest speakers,
research-based activities, fundraising, volunteering with
shelter animals, educational outreach, and providing
animal-assisted therapy at local hospitals and nursing homes. |

Art Club -
Art Club is open to all 6th, 7th &
8th Grade students and will meet Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 to
3:30PM in the art room. No art talent is necessary, just a
desire to create works of art. Students will paint the cafeteria
windows with various holiday themes throughout the year.
After Valentines day activities will be held in the art room.
Art Club meets from September through April. All students
attending the art club must have a parent permission slip
completed and signed by a parent/guardian. All students
must have rides at SBMS no later than 3:40 PM.

Fishing club helps to clean and
stock local waterways with trout in the spring.

Mathcounts -
Mr. Kuhn
Mathcounts is an after school
advanced math program, which culminates in a competition at
Great Valley High School in February. Students will have
the opportunity to be exposed to Math that the Middle School
Curriculum does not cover, giving them a base for whatever math
they take in high school. MathCounts will be held regularly on
Fridays from 2:30 to 4:00.

Association (S.G.A.) -

SGA is responsible for organizing a
wide range of school activities that include fundraising
projects, student finance, yearbook, website, school spirit,
dances and other social activities.
